Product Compliance Evidence Planner

Turn product traits into a structured list of official entry points, evidence requests and scope checks for a US or EU consumer-product project.

Status

Screening only — not a compliance determination

Output

Evidence request, open-question plan and dated official links

Describe the exact product and transaction

Answer based on intended use and final production configuration. A report for a similar model or an early sample may not cover what will be imported.

Market, product and responsibility
Product traits that may change the research path

Select every trait that is present or reasonably foreseeable. Selection creates questions; it does not establish legal applicability.

Evidence and ownership

The output is a research and evidence-request plan. Assign applicability and test-program decisions to a qualified reviewer.

How this screening plan is maintained

The question tree starts from product traits, then points to official research entrances and supplier evidence scope. It deliberately stops before determining applicability.

United States starting points

The CPSC Regulatory Robot describes itself as guidance to identify requirements that should be reviewed for each product. Wireless products may also require research through the FCC equipment-authorization program.

European Union starting points

Access2Markets organizes product requirements and procedures by trade context, while the Commission's product-safety and GPSR page is a starting point for general non-food consumer-product duties.

Evidence is not a filename

The plan asks the buyer to reconcile legal entity, factory, model, variant, sample, materials, date, standard edition and final production revision. Continue with the certificate and test-report verification guide.
